Visa Requirements Checker

This tool ships with a small, bundled dataset of visa policies for a curated set of common passports and destinations. When you pick a passport and a destination, it looks up the entry policy locally in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.

Requirement categories

• Visa-free — you may enter for tourism without arranging a visa in advance (usually for a limited number of days).
• eVisa / eTA — you must apply online before travelling and receive an electronic visa or travel authorisation (e.g. ESTA, eTA, ETA).
• Visa on arrival — you can obtain a visa at the port of entry, typically for a fee.
• Visa required — you must apply for a visa at an embassy or consulate before you travel.

Good to know

• Requirements shown are for ordinary passports on short tourist stays; business, study, work, transit, or diplomatic travel can differ.
• Rules also depend on your length of stay, passport validity (often 6 months), onward tickets, and proof of funds.
